Delhi University Admission 2018 – 4 Lac Applications Were Registered

The application process for graduate merit and entrance examination courses in Delhi University (DU) has ended late Thursday night. Five applications have been received on one seat of the courses of both categories of undergraduate courses. Like most of the applications, BA Honors have come in English. According to a senior DU official, more than four lakh applications were registered for this year’s graduate courses. There are 278574 successful applications. He has completed his application process by paying the fee.

 

Admission only one out of every five

According to the official, out of the successful applications received, 144248 are male students, while 134297 are female students. So there are 29 Transgender students. Simultaneously, 12423 applications have been received from sports quotes out of total successful applications this year. Whereas 17321 applications have been received from ECA quota. According to officials, about five applications have been received in one seat of the graduate.

According to the official, the same year as in the previous year, most applications have been received for admission to BA Honors English in this year. The number of which is close to 1.5 lakh. After this, most applications were received in BA Honors Political Science. DU has about 55 thousand seats in graduate courses.

 

Trial from June 14 for ECA quota admission

The application process for admission in graduate courses of Delhi University (DU) has ended on Thursday. With this, DU has also started preparations for the admission process. Under which the DU has released the program for the admission process of ECA quota on Friday. The trial will start from June 14 for the ECA quota admission. While the ECA quota admission process will be conducted by 4th August. Applications from ECA quota of 175719 seats, 1000 for ECA quota admission process, students applying for admission to ECA quota have to give first priority trial. In this trial, DU organizes final trials for successful students. Successful students’ merit list is released after the final trials are performed. Based on this merit list, students have to register in colleges. The college’s issue ECA quota admissions list. On the basis of that, students get admission.
