72,000 Students Out Of IIT Race Without JEE Advanced

Even before the JEE Advanced exam, about 72 thousand students have gone out of the IIT race. These students did not get registered for advance, while its date of birth was May 9. Many of the board’s results are still left. After clearing the advanced, for admission in IIT students are required to attend 75% or top 20 percentile in their board. Students who do not meet these criteria will also be out of the race.

In such a situation, the figure for students out of IIT can increase further. This year, 2.44 lakh students were qualified for the JEE Advanced from JEE Main. Out of this, 1.73 lakhs have been registered for Advanced. Registrations for students filling Odisha Domicile will run until May 14. There is not much difference coming from this. Last year, 2.31 lakhs were qualified for JEE Advanced. Of these 1.65 lakh students were registered for Advanced

Due to these reasons

1. The provision of 3 attempts forJEE Main and 2 for JEE Advanced. For this reason, the third time the standard qualifies for the IIT race out of the IIT race.
2. The student focuses heavily on JEE advanced, due to this, school education is left behind. Because of this, 75% in the board and not in the Top 20 percentile, the student gets out of the race of IIT.
3. For the Advanced, 2.45 lakh seats, the students behind, go to NIT instead of IIT. They get an idea that the top rank will not get top IIT. For this reason, better go into the NIT.
